Leather Odor Notice

Because we use genuine leather and other natural materials, some pieces may have a noticeable leather or tanning odor when new. The intensity of the scent can vary depending on the type of leather, tanning process, dyes, and finishes used.

This is a natural characteristic of certain leathers and is not considered a defect. In most cases, the odor will gradually fade with normal use and exposure to fresh air.

If your item has a stronger-than-expected leather scent when you receive it, simply allow it to air out in a cool, well-ventilated area for a few days. Avoid using perfumes, chemicals, or household cleaning products to try to remove the odor, as these may damage the leather.

We appreciate your understanding that natural variations—including scent—are part of the character and authenticity of genuine leather.
